My name is Janée. And I absofuckinglutely love craft beer. (Much like any “blank is the spice of life” saying, I feel that swear words are the essential spices of the English language.)

Beer is my favorite non-human thing in the universe. Craft beer isn’t just a beverage; craft beer is a way of life for me. It’s an adventure. Its possibilities are limitless. It can take you anywhere in the world. It can be anything to anyone. It’s inspiring and inspired. There’s nothing a great beer can’t do for me.

I used to love to write. And I’ve always been a storyteller.

Then, one beer-filled night at a super badass craft beer bar, beer, as it often does, inspired me.

I decided that all of this passion needed an outlet. And just like that, my love for writing was rekindled, and my love for beer had new direction. I proclaimed that beer and I “beerlong” together, and just like that, my blog was born.

I’m a Certified Cicerone (essentially the beer version of a Sommelier), and my goal is to infect others with my love for beer and my thirst to always learn more! From beer geeks, to people who are just generally interested or intrigued, this is for you!
